Is my Personal Information secure?

Yes. We have a number of safeguards in place to ensure data privacy and security. This site uses a thawte SSL123 Certificate to offer secure communications by encrypting all data to and from the web site. thawte has checked and verified the site's registered domain name.

This information is included in the SSL certificate that we issue. This enables you to check the site's validity yourself. Always check a site's certificate before entering any sensitive information.

We also have a very strict privacy policy. We do not sell or share any client data (or their client's data).


Once I have set up my profile, do I need to do it again for each different Service Provider I want to book?

No. Once created it can be used for any other service provider you find on any of the appointment.co.za powered scheduling portals.


What if my favourite Service Provider is not registered here?

You can send a referral from SAAO to your service provider or anyone that takes appointments. You can also send us the information of your Service Provider with recommendations or suggestions by clicking here and we will then contact your provider.


Will it cost me anything to make appointments online?

No. This service is free of charge to clients.


How will my Service Provider know that I have booked?

  • Your Service Provider immediately upon you making your booking receives an email notifying him of your appointment.
  • An SMS will be sent to your Service Provider for SAME DAY appointments. (Only if this feature is switched on by your provider)
  • Your Service Provider will be able to regularly check his schedule online or via his cell phone.

Can I tell my Service Provider why I am going to visit him or about special needs along with my booking?

Yes. The system will present you with a booking form which has a field to enter any advanced information you would like your service provider to be aware of. No other client other than yourself and your service provider will be able to see these notes.


I sometimes forget about my appointments. Can I receive a reminder?

Yes. Your client profile has an area where you can set email and / or SMS reminders.

Email reminders are sent the day before the appointments and sms reminders are either sent early the same morning or the day before.

You can also export your appointments to your outlook calendar for easy access.


Can I cancel or change my bookings?

Yes. When you log in as a registered client you will be taken to a window showing all your appointments. Click on "Cancel" and make new appointments as required.

Beware however that you may be subject to the Terms of your chosen service provider which will have been displayed to you while you made the appointment and also in your appointment confirmation email. Quite often, short-notice cancellations incur a cancellation fee from your service provider.


Can I see my history of appointments?

Yes, once logged in you will be able to view your appointment history, i.e. all appointments made through any of the appointment.co.za powered scheduling portals. You will also be able to print and view all upcoming appointments.


How do I change my Personal Details?

Once logged in you will be taken to a window which will give you the option to view and / or update any of your personal details.


Can I give you feedback regarding your service offering and web application?
